  • 1 cup apple cider
  • ½ cup apple sauce
  • 3 large eggs (room temperature)
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon (for topping)
  • ¼ cup sugar (for topping)
  • ¼ cup melted butter (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, apple cider, applesauce, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Stir in cinnamon, brown sugar, and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased and floured bundt pan and bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  5. Allow the cake to cool for 20 minutes on a wire rack.
  6. In a separate bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon for the topping.
  7. Brush cooled cake with melted butter and coat with the cinnamon sugar mixture.
