Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream together the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in bananas and vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the wet mixture until just combined.
  4. Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Allow to cool completely.
  6. For the frosting, beat together butter and cream cheese until smooth; gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla.
  7. Spread the frosting over cooled bars, cut into squares, and serve.
