  • 2 1/4 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm whole milk
  • 1 1/3 cups cold unsalted butter

Instructions

  7. Roll out into a rectangle and fold like a letter; chill for 30 minutes.
  8. Repeat the rolling and folding process two more times with chilling.
  9. Cut into triangles and roll each triangle into a croissant shape.
  10. Proof croissants for about 1 hour until puffy.
  11. Preheat oven to 400°F and brush croissants with beaten egg before baking.
  12. Bake for about 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
