  • 4 cups low-sodium beef broth
  • 4 garlic cloves, smashed

  • 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 6 fresh sub rolls or hoagie buns

Instructions

  1. Season the beef chuck roast generously with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, sear the roast on all sides until browned.
  3. Transfer the roast to a slow cooker and add onions, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4 hours.
