  • 1 cup chopped candied green cherries
  • 1 cup roughly chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2–3 minutes).
  3. Add the egg along with vanilla, almond, and lemon essences; mix until fully combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, salt, and baking soda; gradually incorporate into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in chopped candied fruits and pecans until evenly distributed.
  6. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  7. Bake for about 20 minutes or until lightly golden around the edges.
