  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk (plus 1 tablespoon)
  • ¼ cup white chocolate
  • 5 ½ cups powdered sugar, sifted
  • 2 cups butter, softened (for frosting)
  • Food coloring (red and blue)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a cupcake pan with liners.
  2. In a stand mixer, cream softened butter and granulated sugar until fluffy. Melt white chocolate and fold it into the mixture.
  3. Gradually mix in sifted dry ingredients alternating with milk and vanilla extract until combined.
  4. Whisk egg whites until fluffy; gradually add extra sugar to form soft peaks. Gently fold into the batter.
  5. Distribute batter into liners and bake for about 19–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. For frosting, beat softened butter until fluffy, then gradually mix in powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and whipping cream.
  7. Divide frosting into three bowls; color each with food coloring. Pipe onto cooled cupcakes.
