Instructions
- Trim the ends of the spinach and slice it into approximately 2-inch pieces.
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil, then add the spinach and blanch for about 30 seconds until just wilted.
- Transfer the blanched spinach immediately into an ice bath to cool quickly; gently squeeze out excess water.
