- 3–4 medium bananas or 2 large bananas
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup (for glaze)
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp salt

- 1 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your loaf pan(s).
- Mash the bananas in a bowl; mix with brown sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time.
- In another bowl, sift together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Fold in the banana mixture until just combined.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake for 30 minutes (lower temperature for larger pans) until a toothpick comes out clean.
