  • 2 tbsp All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ tsp Baking Soda
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • ½ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Butter
  • ½ cup Hot Water (or as needed)
  • Refined Oil (for frying)
  • ½ cup Caster Sugar (for coating)
  • 2 tsp Ground Cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cinnamon sugar by mixing caster sugar and ground cinnamon in a bowl; set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine glutinous rice flour, all-purpose flour, baking soda, salt, sugar, and butter. Gradually add hot water until the mixture is moistened; knead for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  3. Roll small portions of the dough into balls.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium-low heat. Fry dough balls for about 3–5 minutes until golden brown, stirring gently to avoid sticking.
  5. Drain on paper towels and coat warm doughnuts in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
