  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into a loaf and place it in a baking dish.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  5. Spread half of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes in the preheated oven.
  7. After 45 minutes, remove from the oven and spread the remaining glaze on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
