- 2 grilled chicken breasts (sliced)
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- 3/4 cup olive oil or vegetable oil
- 1 1/2 cups pecan halves
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
- Prepare the dressing by whisking apple cider vinegar, honey, white sugar, Dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and olive oil in a mixing bowl until well combined.
- Make the glazed pecans by boiling water with sugar, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a saucepan. Coat pecan halves in the mixture and bake on a greased baking sheet at 350°F for 12–14 minutes until golden brown.
- In a large salad bowl, toss together mixed greens, sliced strawberries, red onion, dried cranberries, feta cheese, crumbled turkey bacon, sliced grilled chicken, and glazed pecans.
