- 2 lbs ground beef (80/20)
- 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 cup cooked turkey bacon, chopped
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet or loaf pan.
- In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet, then sauté sliced mushrooms in the remaining fat until browned.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, eggs, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix in half of the shredded Swiss cheese gently until combined.
- Shape the mixture into a loaf on your prepared baking sheet and top with remaining cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and chopped turkey bacon.
- Bake for 45–55 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
- Let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing.
