  • 1 teaspoon salt (divided)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ⅓ cup hot sauce (like Frank's RedHot)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon apple juice vinegar or white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Pat chicken wings dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, combine baking powder, ½ teaspoon salt, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Coat wings in half of the seasoning mix, then add the remaining mix and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Place wings on a wire rack over a foil-lined baking tray and bake for 28-35 minutes until crispy, flipping halfway through.
  5. While wings bake, mix hot sauce, melted butter, minced garlic, remaining salt, and vinegar in a large bowl.
  6. Toss baked wings in the buffalo sauce until thoroughly coated before serving.
