  • 4 tbsp Japanese BBQ sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 6 garlic cloves (minced)

  • 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/4 tsp red chili flakes
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sesame seeds (for garnish)
  • green onions (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the Japanese BBQ sauce, soy sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, ginger, toasted sesame oil, red chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the chicken to the marinade and let it sit for about 5 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add the marinated chicken in a single layer. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until crispy on one side, then flip and cook for an additional 3–5 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. Once cooked, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions before serving hot.
