  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1 tbsp instant yeast
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 3¼ cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1½ tbsp ground cinnamon
  • For frosting: cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and sugar; sprinkle yeast on top. Let it froth for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, gluten-free flour, baking powder, salt, and mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead gently on a floured surface for about 5 minutes; place in a greased bowl and let rise for 30 minutes.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle, spread softened butter over it, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll tightly into a log and cut into 12 pieces; place in greased baking dish.
  6. Allow to rise for another 15-20 minutes, then bake at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Prepare frosting by beating cream cheese and butter together; add powdered sugar and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Frost warm rolls before serving.
