  • 12 Hawaiian sweet rolls (keep attached)
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the entire slab of rolls horizontally without separating them.
  2. Place the bottom half on a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over it. Cap with the top layer.
  3. In a small bowl, mix melted butter with garlic powder and Parmesan (if using). Brush generously over the tops of the rolls.
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes until the tops are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  5. Allow to cool for 2 minutes before slicing between the rolls. Serve warm.
