Instructions
- 1. Cut off the top inch of the angel food cake using a serrated knife and set aside.
- 2. With a paring knife, carefully cut around the inner edge about 1 inch from the edge of the cake without cutting through; leave about a 1-inch base on the bottom.
- 3. Gently remove the inner section of the cake, leaving approximately a 1-inch base.
- 4. In a mixing bowl, whip together the whipping cream, vanilla extract, softened cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
