Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked spaghetti
  • 1 teaspoon Americolor Red-Red Food Coloring
  • 1 teaspoon Americolor Navy Blue Food Coloring
  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons water

Instructions

  1. Separate the cooked spaghetti into three portions.
  2. Rinse two-thirds of the spaghetti in water. Place this portion in two gallon-size zip closure bags.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the plain pasta to prevent sticking.
  4. Add red food coloring to one bag and navy blue food coloring to the other, along with 2 tablespoons of water in each.
  5. Gently mix each bag until the pasta absorbs the color.
  6. If desired, rinse excess color before combining pasta just before serving.
