- 8 oz block cream cheese, cold
- 1–2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons favorite BBQ rub
- 1 tablespoon sugar-free honey
- Minced parsley, for garnish
- Red pepper flakes, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your Traeger or smoker to 225°F.
- Brush the cold cream cheese generously with olive oil.
- Score the top of the cream cheese with diagonal crosshatch marks about 1/2-1 cm deep.
- Sprinkle the BBQ rub evenly over the cream cheese.
- Place the seasoned cream cheese in a cast iron skillet with the scored side facing up and smoke for 2 hours at 225°F.
