  • 8 oz block cream cheese, cold
  • 12 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons favorite BBQ rub
  • 1 tablespoon sugar-free honey
  • Minced parsley, for garnish
  • Red pepper flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your Traeger or smoker to 225°F.
  2. Brush the cold cream cheese generously with olive oil.
  3. Score the top of the cream cheese with diagonal crosshatch marks about 1/2-1 cm deep.
  4. Sprinkle the BBQ rub evenly over the cream cheese.
  5. Place the seasoned cream cheese in a cast iron skillet with the scored side facing up and smoke for 2 hours at 225°F.
  6. After smoking, drizzle with sugar-free honey and garnish with minced parsley and red pepper flakes before serving.
