  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup melted butter
  • 2 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 16 oz Cool Whip
  • 4 cups sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix crushed pretzels, chopped pecans, and brown sugar. Stir in melted butter until combined.
  3. Spread the mixture evenly on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until bubbling. Allow to cool completely before breaking into pieces.
  4. In a large bowl, beat softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth. Gently fold in Cool Whip and refrigerate until ready to use.
  5. To assemble, fold in sliced strawberries and half of the pretzel crunch before topping with the remaining crunch.
